How to see a hidden partition in windows using command prompt

was used by us and use that partition on your hard disk and after using it now you can also able to hide that partition again on your system after use. So now we can start here how to saw a hidden partition in windows using the command prompt.

Now follow these given steps to saw a hidden partition in windows using the command prompt.

Step 1: – First of all open command prompt by using Windows key+R. then some options will be shown at the left side of the screen now simply choose command prompt (Admin) option to open the command prompt as admin.

Step 2: – Now after that type diskpart command in command prompt and then press enter to access all the permissions of your hard disk on your command prompt and then use your command prompt to make changes 0n your hard disk.

Step 3: – Now after that type list disk command in command prompt and then press enter to show all the connected disks on your system at that moment. After running this command on your system a list of connected disks will be shown on your screen.

Step 4: – After that now type select disk 0 command in command prompt and then press enter to select a disk from your system in which you want to show a hidden partition. (Here you can write another disk number instead of 0 to select a disk according to you on your system)

Step 5: – After that now type list volume command in your command prompt and press enter to show all the partitions on that selected disk on your system.

Step 6: – After that, you saw that every volume has a specific number and a specific letter assign to each volume which is shown in front of every volume. Now saw that your hidden partition not showing any letter in front of it like in the previous article we hide volume 0 which is assigned by letter D. Now type select volume 0 command in command prompt and then press enter to proceed. (Here o is the partition number which is hidden by us in the previous article now you can change this number by your partition number which is hidden in command prompt)

Step 7: – Now after that type assign letter D command in command prompt then press enter to show your hidden partition on your system. (Here you can write your letter which is assigned to your hidden partition instead of D) As the figure is shown below
