How to set a new IP address for your computer using command prompt in Windows

Now use given below steps to renew your systems Ip address using command prompt

Note: – To perform this trick on your system always remember that you can always open the command prompt as admin because without giving administrator permission on your command prompt your system does not able to renew your systems IP address.

Step 1: – First of all press Windows key+X on your screen. By pressing these keys on your system some options will be displayed on your screen at the left bottom corner of your screen.

Step 2: – Now after that, you can choose command prompt (Admin) option from these options to open your command prompt as the administrator on your system.

Step 3: – After that type ipconfig/release command in command prompt and press enter to proceed. This command helps you in leaving your current IP address from your system this will help you in renew your systems IP address.

Step 4: – After that type ipconfig/renew command in command prompt and press enter to proceed. This command helps you in renewing your systems IP address and your new IP address will active at the place of old IP address of your system and your system. As the figure is shown below

Step 5: – After that connect your computer from a wi-fi router and now you can saw that your system has a new IP address. Now you can access that item from the internet which is not be accessed by old IP address on your system.

Step 6: – Now to saw your new IP address on your system now type ipconfig command in command prompt and then press enter to proceed. Now you saw that your system is running on a new IP address.
